Will an import game work in my console?

Without knowing the type of game console you have or even if it has been modified to play multi-region games, this is a hard question to answer.

Simply put tho, if you want to play import games you are better off playing those on a console of the same region. Failing that a console that has been modified to play games from multiple regions (often called “region free”)

All games sold by Retrobits have been tested on consoles of the same manufacturer region. Please check your consoles region before ordering.

How can you list a game as in “Excellent” condition if it isn’t complete?

The grading is of the artwork and box you will receive, not of the completeness of the product. Please check the photographs of the item and the Additional Info tab of the product.

How do you grade your games?

Firstly, all games shown on Retrobits are the actual games you will receive. The discs sold have been sourced from stock that is in ‘as new’ condition, therefore only the packaging is graded and photographed to show its condition. The grading scale used is:

  • Excellent (E): Games that have artwork, manuals inserts etc that are in ‘like new’ or ‘nearly new’ condition, having only a few minor blemishes.
  • Very Good (VG): Games that are still in great condition but may have a few more blemishes than stated above, but is not torn, creased, cracked case etc.
  • Good (G): Games that are still in great condition but the artwork has seen better days, may have creases, slight tears, cracked CD case etc.
  • Custom Product (CP): This grade is generally reserved for custom items such as consoles, controllers etc that have been customised and so can not be graded as if it were an untouched product
